Cocoa Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. cocoa
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine cocoa, sugar and salt in 3-quart pan.
    Add milk gradually; mix thoroughly.
    Bring to a bubbly boil on high heat, stirring continuously.
    Reduce to medium heat and continue to boil without stirring until soft ball stage is reached.
    Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla.
    Do not stir.
    Allow fudge to cool until 110\u00b0 is reached.
    Beat until it begins to thicken.
    Pour in lightly buttered 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Cool; cut into squares. Makes about 3 dozen squares.
