Ingredients

1 stick oleomargarine
3/4 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1/2 pkg. pitted dates
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 can coconut
Preparation

Use iron skillet.
Combine oleo, sugar, egg yolks, salt and chopped dates in a skillet.
Cook very slowly and mash dates until all melts.
Turn off heat.
Add vanilla, nuts and Rice Krispies. Work all together and form little round balls.
Roll in coconut.
