Stovetop Baked Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium sized baking apples
    2 Tbsp. honey
    2 Tbsp. dark seeded raisins
    2 Tbsp. chopped walnuts
    2 inch cinnamon stick
    water
Preparation
    Wash and core apples, being careful not to cut through to bottom.
    Peel a 1-inch strip from the top of each apple.
    Mix honey, raisins and walnuts in a small bowl.
    Fill apples with the honey mixture.
    Place apples in a medium saucepan.
    Add cinnamon stick and enough water to come up halfway up the apples.
    Cover and simmer 20 to 30 minutes.
    Check for doneness.
