Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 ripe tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 c. chicken stock
    1 c. half and half
Preparation
    Peel and chop the tomatoes.
    Saute in butter until tender. Mix tomatoes with chicken stock and simmer 20 minutes.
    Run the mixture through a food blender and strain to remove seeds.
    Add the half and half and a pat of butter.
    Mix together and heat for about 5 minutes.
    Soup may be sweetened with a bit of sugar to remove the tartness of the tomatoes.
    Serves 4 to 6.
