Irish Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 1/4 c. quick oats
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. melted margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. honey
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease loaf pan (9 1/2 x 5 1/4 x 2 1/4-inch).
    Mix dry ingredients in large bowl.
    Mix egg, honey and milk in medium bowl using rotary beater.
    Pour egg mixture into flour.
    Beat mixture.
    Stir with wooden spoon until dry ingredients are just moistened.
    Spread batter into loaf pan. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes until top is crusty and toothpick comes out clean from center.
    Turn onto rack.
    Brush with margarine.
