Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. canned pumpkin
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
nutmeg
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
dash of salt
1 (10-inch) pie shell (unbaked)
Preparation

Beat eggs and milk; add pumpkin.
Mix sugar and cinnamon.
Add salt and pumpkin mixture.
Beat well with electric mixer.
Pour into shell; dot with butter and sprinkle top lightly with nutmeg. Bake at 425\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
A stainless knife blade carefully inserted in the center of the pie will come out clean if the pie is done.
Serve with whipped cream.
