Pinwheel Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 egg yolks
    3 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. milk
    food coloring (2 colors)
Preparation
    Mix shortening and sugar.
    Add egg yolks and mix well.
    Add flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add alternately with milk.
    Divide into 2 equal sections.
    Add colors into dough.
    Roll out 1/2-inch thick.
    Put darker layer on bottom.
    Moisten, then put lighter on top and press together.
    Then roll, chill for 3 hours and cut 1/8-inch thick.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 9 minutes.
