Garlic Almonds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 pkg. either shelled or blanched almonds
    cooking oil
    garlic salt
Preparation
    If the almonds have shells on them, soak them in very hot water for a few minutes.
    Drain them and then slide the skins off. Put them on a paper towel covered cookie sheet and let them dry out well (put them in a low oven for a faster job).
    Fill a fry pan with about 1 1/2 inches of oil.
    Heat the oil and then put the almonds in the oil.
    Turn frequently until they are golden brown. With a slotted spoon, put them on a paper towel to drain off. Empty them into a bowl and sprinkle garlic salt over them, turning them all until well covered.
