Chicken Caruso - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. chicken breasts, skinned, boned and cut in strips or cubes
    2 to 4 cloves garlic
    pepper and salt to taste
    1 to 2 Tbsp. olive oil
    15 1/2 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
    1/3 c. dry white wine
    1 tsp. basil
    Italian seasoning to taste
    2 c. sliced celery
    1 c. mushrooms, sliced or cubed
Preparation
    Season chicken with garlic, salt and pepper.
    Saute chicken in olive oil for approximately 2 minutes or until it loses uncooked look.
    Stir in spaghetti sauce.
    Rinse jar with wine and add to mixture.
    Add herbs.
    Simmer for 10 minutes.
    Add celery and mushrooms; continue cooking until celery is tender-crisp (about 15 minutes).
    Do not overcook.
    Serve over rice or pasta.
    Makes 6 servings.
