English Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. margarine, softened
    5 to 6 Tbsp. skim milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and sugar.
    Cut in shortening until mixture is size of small peas.
    Stir in milk to make a soft dough.
    On floured board, roll dough 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut into 1 1/2-inch circles. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
