Papa Bertolone Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. Crisco
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    6 eggs
    1 1/2 lb. flour
    3/4 lb. sugar
    1 Tbsp. anise
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Mix Crisco well, first with sugar, vanilla and anise.
    Then add eggs.
    When soft, add flour.
    Mix well.
    Spoon onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 to 25 minutes.
