Church Fair Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. water
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
2 c. salted peanuts
2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Grease two cookie sheets.
Mix sugar, corn syrup and water in heavy saucepan and cook to 280\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
Add the salted nuts and cook to 300\u00b0.
Remove from heat and stir in 2 teaspoons soda.
Pour immediately on the prepared sheets and spread them.
Cool completely and break into pieces.
