"Holiday Gift Cake" - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. well-drained red cherries
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts

Preparation

Thoroughly blend softened cream cheese, margarine, sugar and vanilla.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Mix well after each addition. Gradually add 2 cups flour with cherries and 1/2 cup nuts.
Fold into batter.
