Ingredients

1/2 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
2 pears, peeled, cored and diced
12 oz. cranberries
1 c. honey
1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp. grated lemon zest
1 c. diced pitted prunes
1/2 c. diced dried apricots
2 tsp. minced fresh ginger
1/4 c. Amaretto liqueur
Preparation

Place water and sugar in a medium saucepan and heat over medium-high heat until sugar is dissolved, 3 to 4 minutes.
Stir in the pears and cranberries and cook until the cranberries just begin to pop, about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat.
