Strawberry Flavored Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 qt. popped corn
    2 sticks margarine
    1 7/8 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jell-O (red)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Put the popped corn in a large, buttered roaster.
    Boil margarine, sugar and syrup for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Just before you remove it from heat, add the Jell-O.
    When Jell-O is dissolved, remove from heat and add salt and soda.
    Pour over corn and bake at 250\u00b0 for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
