Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    3 slices soft white bread, torn into very small pieces
    1 c. tomato juice or milk
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Mix ingredients thoroughly.
    Press into a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan or shape into loaf.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 (moderate oven) about 1 1/2 hours.
    Remove from oven and drain off excess fat. Makes 6 servings.
