Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1 c. cream or evaporated milk
vanilla or maple flavoring

Preparation

Cook brown sugar and cream or evaporated milk to soft-ball stage; beat until creamy.
Flavor with vanilla or maple flavoring. If icing gets too hard, add a little more cream and beat.
