Root Beer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. A & W root beer
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in large mixer bowl. Blend at low speed; beat 3 minutes at medium speed.
    Pour into a greased and floured 12 x 8-inch pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
