Breadsticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    2 tsp. sugar
    pinch of ground ginger
    1 c. lukewarm water
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. all-purpose flour or half all-purpose flour and half whole wheat flour
Preparation
    Combine the yeast, sugar, ginger and water in a large bowl. Let stand 10 minutes.
    Mix in the oil and salt, then slowly mix in the flour, adding just enough to get past the sticky stage and allow you to knead the dough.
    Knead for 5 minutes.
    Roll into long sticks, about 1/2-inch thick x 8-inches long.
    Place the sticks on a lightly oiled baking sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 on the high rack of the oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
    Serve hot.
    Yield:
    2 dozen sticks.
