Icebox Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. orange peel
1 c. lemon peel
1 c. citron peel
1 c. candied pineapple
1 c. candied cherries
1 c. dates
1 c. dark or light raisins
1 c. figs
pinch of salt
1 c. pecans and walnuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. spice desired
1 c. butter
1 c. honey or light corn syrup
1 Tbsp. lemon flavoring
1 lb. graham crackers
Preparation

Put fruit and nuts together.
Mix the butter and honey together.
Add the flavoring and pour over the fruit.
Let stand 2 hours.
Mix the crackers and spices together and the salt.
Mix all the ingredients together and pack in a greased, lined pan and cover.
Put in the refrigerator until you use it.
