Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
3 heaping Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. Pet evaporated milk
1 c. water
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
3 egg whites
1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pie crust
Preparation

Combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour, cocoa and milk (enough to dampen); stir well.
Add rest of milk, 1 cup water, beaten egg yolks and dash of salt. Place in a 2-quart pan; heat over medium heat, stirring constantly.
When thick enough to stand, remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Pour into pie crust.
