Waldorf Astoria Cake(Red Velvet) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 oz. red cake color
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add color and eggs.
    Sift flour 3 times.
    Add vanilla, flour, salt, buttermilk and cocoa alternately.
    Dissolve vinegar and soda together before folding into flour mixture.
    Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
