Pineapple Upside Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 (No. 2 1/2) can crushed pineapple, drained, reserving 3/4 c. syrup
1/2 c. nuts (if desired)
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt the 2 tablespoons butter in bottom of 9 or 10-inch cake pan.
Add 1 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup nuts.
Spread evenly. Drain the crushed pineapple, reserving 3/4 cup of syrup.
Spread drained pineapple on top of sugar mixture and set aside.
