Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 1/4 c. oil
    1/2 c. nuts
    4 c. finely diced apples (McIntosh or Jonathan)
Preparation
    Combine the apples, sugar, flour and cinnamon; toss to mix well.
    Add the soda and salt.
    Beat the eggs, vanilla and oil. The secret of this cake is to mix well and slowly so the flavor of the apples has a chance to soak in before baking.
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan and pour in your batter.
    Flatten down with a spoon. The batter will be thick.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 60 to 70 minutes.
