Cheryl'S Mushroom Barley Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/3 c. butter
    1/3 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. quick barley
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. parsley
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute mushrooms, onions and green pepper in butter.
    Blend in flour.
    Cook until browned.
    Slowly add milk.
    Stir until thickened.
    Add barley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and parsley.
    Bring to boil, then simmer, covered, for 10 to 12 minutes.
