Candy Cookie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 egg
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. mixed fruit
    1 c. candied cherries
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Mix together margarine and powdered sugar.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Make 2 rolls.
    Chill 4 hours.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
    Cut cookies 1/4-inch thick.
