Florida Orange Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. orange rind, slivered
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. water
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. orange juice
    3 eggs, well beaten
    4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Remove orange rind from oranges and cut into slivers.
    Combine sugar and water with rind in pan.
    Stir until sugar dissolves. Cook for 5 minutes.
    Mixture should measure 1 1/2 cups.
    Add butter and stir until melted.
    Add orange juice and eggs.
    Mix dry ingredients with orange juice mixture in a large bowl.
    Batter will be lumpy.
    Bake in greased loaf pan 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325\u00b0 or in 4 small pans 45 minutes.
