Sweet Lemon Chicken - cooking recipe

1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 chicken, cut up
1 can frozen lemonade
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. cold water
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 c. water
3 Tbsp. catsup
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation

Combine flour and salt.
Dredge chicken in flour mixture and brown in hot oil in large skillet.
Combine lemonade, water, sugar, catsup and vinegar.
Stir well and pour over chicken. Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 45 to 50 minutes until tender.
Remove chicken to serving platter and keep warm.
Measure pan drippings and add enough water to make 1 1/2 cups liquid.
Combine cornstarch and 1 tablespoon cold water. Stirring until smooth, add cornstarch mixture to pan drippings and return to skillet to cook, stirring constantly until smooth and thick.
Serve over chicken with rice.
