Four Bean Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can green beans, drained
1 can yellow beans, drained
1 can chick peas, drained
1 can kidney beans, drained
1/2 green pepper, thinly sliced
1/2 red pepper, thinly sliced
1 red onion, thinly sliced
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
garlic, salt, and pepper to taste
pinch of dry mustard
Preparation

Mix first 7 ingredients together and set aside.
Mix sugar, vinegar, oil and seasonings together.
Whisk \"dressing\" until sugar is melted and oil is well blended.
Pour over bean mixture. Mix well and refrigerate.
This recipe should be made 24 hours prior to eating.
If using frozen beans, use 1 cup of each bean type.
Makes approximately 9 cups, serves 12.
