Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla or your choice
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs, one at a time beating after each addition.
    Mix flour, salt and soda.
    Add alternately with the buttermilk.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
