Bierocks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. scalded milk, cooled
    1 c. warm water
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 cake yeast
    5 1/2 c. flour
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/2 cabbage, shredded
    1 small onion, minced
    Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Melt butter in milk.
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Combine milk, dissolved yeast, sugar and salt with flour.
    Use enough flour to make a fairly stiff dough.
    Meanwhile, brown hamburger, salt and pepper to taste.
    Drain.
    Boil cabbage and onion in 1/2 cup water, just enough to soften.
    Mix with hamburger.
    Roll dough.
    Cut into squares.
    Fill each square with hamburger mixture and top with a piece of cheese.
    Pull up sides and pinch together. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 minutes.
