Party Pink Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 tart apples, peeled, cored and sliced
    1 c. Imperial granulated sugar
    1/3 c. water
    2 Tbsp. red hot candies
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and bring to boil.
    Lower heat and simmer until apples are barely tender.
    Stir gently a few times while cooking.
    Serve with whipped cream for dessert.
