Cherry Cheesecake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18.5 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
    1/3 c. butter or margarine, softened
    3 large eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    2 tsp. vanilla
    16 oz. cream cheese, softened
    2 c. sour cream
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Beat cake mix, butter and 1 egg in large mixer bowl at low speed until crumbly.
    Press lightly into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan or a 9-inch spring-form pan.
    Beat 2 eggs, 3/4 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons vanilla and cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
    Spread over crumb mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes until set. Mix sour cream, 1/4 cup sugar and remaining tablespoon vanilla. Spread over cheese; cool.
    Spread pie filling over sour cream mixture.
    Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours.
