Swedish Rye Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. bacon drippings or oil
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1 tsp. salt
5 c. rye flour
5 to 6 c. white flour
4 c. boiling water
1/2 c. molasses
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
Preparation

In large mixer bowl, mix first 4 ingredients with molasses and boiling water.
With mixer set at very low, add rye flour, one cup at a time.
Cool to lukewarm.
