Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 slices cubed steak
1 large onion, diced
1 green pepper
2 cans stewed tomatoes
flour
salt and pepper
garlic salt
3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Roll steak in flour and brown in skillet until done.
In Dutch oven cooking pot, combine tomatoes, onion and green pepper over medium heat.
Add sugar, salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste. Simmer 10 minutes over low heat.
Lay steak in baking dish; cover with tomato sauce.
Bake 10 minutes at 250\u00b0.
Sprinkle top with Parmesan or Cheddar cheese, if desired.
Serve with rice.
