Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. mini marshmallows
    1 can mandarin oranges
    1 can pineapple chunks
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    2 bananas, sliced
    2 small apples, peeled and cubed
    1 can fruit cocktail
    15 cherries, pitted
    16 oz. sour cream
Preparation
    Place miniature marshmallows in a large bowl and set aside. Open and drain all three cans of fruit.
    Add the cans of fruit into the bowl with the marshmallows.
    Stir gently for 2 minutes. Add the sour cream in, and stir until thick and creamy.
    Put the rest of the fruit and nuts in and stir again.
    Allow to chill before serving.
    It should be nice and thick or \"set-up.\"
    Serves 8 to 10.
