Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    6 c. popped popcorn
Preparation
    Mix first 6 ingredients in a medium saucepan. Place over medium heat and stir until mixture come to a boil. Continue cooking until mixture forms a soft ball when a small amount is placed in cold water. Remove from heat and add a few drops of food coloring. Slowly pour syrup over popcorn and stir to coat. Butter hands and form into balls. Be careful that the syrup has cooled enough to handle comfortably.
