Oatmeal Scotchies Cookies - cooking recipe

1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. butterscotchies
1 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
3 c. oatmeal
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Combine flour, soda and spices; set aside.
Combine shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla; beat until fluffy.
Gradually add flour mixture.
Stir in oatmeal and butterscotchies.
Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan for 20 to 25 minutes.
Slice into squares when cool.
