Slushy Punchfirst Tasted At United Methodist Temple - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large pkgs. of jello (any flavor)
    3 c. water
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. lemon juice (Real Lemon is O.K.)
    4 c. water
    1 (46 oz.) can of pineapple juice
    6 bananas, mashed or pureed (optional)
Preparation
    Freeze the above mixture; will keep several weeks.
    Two hours before serving, remove from freezer.
    Just before serving, place in a large punch bowl.
    Add two 64 oz. bottles of gingerale.
    As the punch needs replenishing add more gingerale.
    Left over punch may be refrozen for a later party.
    Note:
    almond flavoring is good instead of bananas; also, punch is good without bananas or flavoring.
    Fresh fruit is good and pretty floating on top or frozen strawberries (the kind packaged with sugar and syrup) is good when added.
    Serves 50.
