Two Step Beef Goulash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. beef stew meat, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. oil
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole peeled tomatoes, undrained and chopped
1 1/4 c. water
1 medium green pepper, diced
1 1/2 tsp. paprika
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped (optional)
Preparation

Lightly toss beef with flour.
In Dutch oven, heat oil and brown beef over medium-high heat.
Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer, covered,stirring occasionally, 1 1/2 hours or until beef is tender.
Serve over hot egg noodles.
