Raisin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. warm water
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    6 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 c. oil
    6 c. sifted flour
    2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Measure water into bowl.
    Sprinkle in yeast and stir to dissolve.
    Add brown sugar, salt and oil.
    Add 3 cups of the flour, beating until smooth and bubbly.
    Add raisins, mix well.
    Gradually add, while beating, the remaining flour.
    Beat until mixed.
    Place on lightly floured board and knead until smooth and velvety (about 10 minutes).
    Place in greased bowl and brush top with oil.
    Cover, let rise until double, 1 hour.
