Fried Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large peppers (red, yellow and green)
    2 medium onions
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cut peppers lengthwise in half.
    Remove seeds.
    Slice lengthwise into one-inch wide strips.
    Cut onions into thick slices.
    Heat oil in skillet.
    Add peppers, onions and garlic. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Cover and simmer 5 to 10 minutes until softened.
    Season with salt, pepper and vinegar, then stir.
