Reese'S Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 tsp. oleo
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. 4x sugar
    1 Tbsp. corn syrup
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    2 Tbsp. evaporated milk
    dash of salt
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Over low heat, melt oleo.
    Stir in milk, vanilla and salt. Mix and remove from heat.
    Add 1 1/2 cups sugar; stir.
    Add peanut butter and syrup.
    Mix.
    Put remaining 1/2 cup sugar on counter. Pour on mixture and knead until all is mixed in.
    Make into balls. Melt chocolate chips and shortening in small pot.
    Remove from heat.
    Dip balls in chocolate until coated.
    Place on pan and refrigerate until firm.
    Serve.
    Makes 50.
