Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    potful potatoes
    water (enough to cover potatoes)
    salt and pepper to taste
    small stick celery
    1 small chopped onion
    pat of butter
    1 or 2 slices bacon
    small piece sausage
    little fresh parsley
Preparation
    Dice up potatoes.
    Add enough water to cover.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Add celery, onion and butter.
    Add bacon or sausage.
    Also add parsley.
    Cook until almost all the water is gone.
    Then cover with milk.
    Simmer until done.
    Do not boil.
    So good on a cold winter day!
