Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. seasoned flour
    2 lb. round or flank steak (1 1/2-inch thick)
    2 c. stewed tomatoes
    1 onion, sliced
    1 stalk celery, diced
Preparation
    Pound seasoned flour into sides of the steak.
    Brown pounded steak in hot fat in a heavy skillet.
    Then add remaining ingredients.
    Cover and cook over low heat or in a moderate 300\u00b0 oven until tender (2 to 2 1/2 hours), uncovering the last 1/2 hour to cook down sauce to a rich thickness.
    Serve hot.
