Sour Liver - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. liver
    1 Tbsp. fat
    dash of paprika
    1 Tbsp. each: wine and vinegar
    1 bay leaf
    1 clove
    1 onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    salt and pepper as desired
    2 c. water
    5 ginger berries
Preparation
    Cut liver into small pieces.
    Cook onion in 1 tablespoon fat until clear in appearance.
    Add liver; stir frequently for 3 minutes.
    Sprinkle flour over meat mixture, stirring for 3 more minutes.
    Add salt, pepper, paprika, water, wine, vinegar, bay leaf, clove and ginger berries; cook slowly for 10 minutes.
    Goes well with noodles, rice and potatoes.
