Pepper-Onion Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 8 large onions
10 medium bell peppers (red and green, mixed)
few pods seeded hot peppers (optional)
2 c. sugar
1 qt. apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation

Process onions and peppers, a few at a time, mixed with vinegar in blender.
Mix all ingredients together and boil until slightly thickened (about 45 minutes), stirring occasionally. Pack boiling hot into hot sterilized jars.
Seal and process in water bath for 5 minutes.
Good with vegetables or on hot dogs and hamburgers.
