Green Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1 (8 serving) pkg. lime or lemon jello
    Cool Whip
    1/2 c. nuts (optional)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, at room temperature
    1 can evaporated milk
Preparation
    Mix pineapple and sugar together; heat to dissolve the sugar. Add everything together.
    Put in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
