Rice Krispie Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates, cut up
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) can coconut
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except pecans, Rice Krispies and coconut, in saucepan.
    Bring to boil; simmer 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add pecans and Rice Krispies.
    Form into balls.
    Roll in coconut.
    Makes 60 balls.
