Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 beaten egg
3/4 c. milk
1 small finely chopped onion

Preparation

Mix together ingredients and drop by teaspoonfuls into deep fat.
